About Me

Geo Marchisano is an author and screenwriter whose narrative craft is anchored in decades of multi-disciplinary performance across European theater, television, and film. Beginning her career on the European stage, she worked extensively as a screen actress in episodic television and commercial productions, alongside lending her voice to iconic animated franchises broadcast across Romania, including dubbing central roles in Pokémon, X-Men: Evolution, and Justice League. That immersive background in character interiority and spoken dialogue informs her literary and screen work today. Her writing probes the raw complexities of human dynamics, examining fragmented memory, familial cruelty, psychological isolation, and dark social satire. Currently based in Paradise Valley, Arizona, she dedicates her practice to long-form prose and original dramatic screenwriting, preparing three upcoming novels for publication alongside new film projects in active development.

The Unluckiest Man on Earth: A dark satirical novel following an ordinary man who becomes swept up in viral hysteria, mistaken identity, and media absurdity.

Fifty-year-old Steve just wants to stitch his Jesus embroidery and endure his miserable marriage. That ends when a viral clip of a rogue delivery guy swiping a pizza slice triggers national outrage. Within hours, pundits brand him a degenerate, a mob pelts his house with eggs, and his wife kicks him out with pre-signed divorce papers. On the run, Steve descends into a bizarre gutter of street weed deals, drag disguises, and a bogus prostitution collar. After papal excommunication lands him in maximum security, the timid suburbanite discards his morals, surviving as a ruthless operator running prison phones, hooch, and pimping rings. When trash-TV confessions unmask the real thief, the public whips into hypocritical adulation: Steve emerges a multimillionaire folk hero slated for canonization by the Pope who condemned him. Flanked by Russian escorts and disgusted by the circus, America’s newest saint dons a garish pimp suit and catches a one-way train to Tijuana. The Unluckiest Man on Earth is a blistering, profane farce about media hysteria and a society desperate to canonize a fraud.
